Everhot PEX is a PEX-B tubing manufactured from a high density polyethylene (HDPE), using a silane method of cross-linking. The process of cross-linking forms bonds between a certain percentage of molecules in polymer and improves its performance and durability.

Today, silane method is one of the most popular and inexpensive methods for producing PEX due to high quality of the end product. As a result, Everhot PEX is priced more attractively and has a higher quality than many other brands on the market.

Everhot PEX has undergone a long process of testing for quality and meets today's highest standards and most strict requirements for potable water and radiant floor heating applications. High resistance to chlorinated water and corrosion makes it a safe & environmentally clean product as well.

Everhot PEX is flexible and requires fewer fittings than copper pipes. It can be easily bent around corners and inside walls, allowing for a faster, easier and more reliable installation.

Everhot Barrier PEX is a PEX-B tubing with Oxygen Diffusion Barrier (also referred to as "EVOH" PEX).

Everhot Barrier PEX has a thin coating on the outside of the tubing (EVOH polymer); it's purpose is to prevent diffusion of molecules of oxygen (O2) through the walls of pipe into the water.

If O2 molecules are present in the water, they come in contact with the ferrous parts of the plumbing/heating system (such as cast iron boiler sections or cast iron radiators) and oxidize them.

Most common applications for Barrier PEX include ice & snow melting systems and radiant floor heating systems.

Everhot PEX is backed by a 20-year limited warranty and has a life expectancy of over 50 years, if properly used and installed.
